Welcome to the Flying Duck, a basement bar and vegan diner tucked away in the heart of the busy city of Glasgow.

The establishment came into being in 2007 and is an integral part of the music, vegan and drinking scene in Glasgow. With a ‘dive bar’ vibe that’s out of this world and great vegan food that rivals some of the biggest Michigan sized portions, The Flying Duck cast veganism in a different light and dispels the flawed image of what it’s all about to be vegan.

And they love that…

After a ten-year struggle finding their feet and may rough rides, they have finally found their stride. They love their space and are sure that each and every customer, vegan or not will do so as well.

As the establishment is an over 18’s vibe only, you will need to leave the kiddies at home (if you have)  but it’s totally worth it for a night of healthy drinking, pool tables, gigs, film screenings, karaoke, quizzes and more.

Their vegan food range includes a delicious variety of vegan burgers, vegan nachos, Doner kebabs and dips. They also offer mouth-watering mains of vegan mac and cheese, jackfruit crab cakes, 5 bean chilli and polenta, and scotch bonnet jambalaya.

They are proud that all their food is 100% vegan, and their kitchen is open daily from 12pm – 12am.

The next time you are in and around Glasgow, be sure to visit this wonderful basement bar for some truly delicious vegan food, good music, and welcome vibe.
