It’s exciting news for pub goers as Wetherspoon’s launches a fabulous new vegan burger. Although it hasn’t officially rolled out across the country yet, this little gem has been found on the menu in a Wetherspoon’s in Manchester for a steal at £5.85

With only 487 calories, it’s made using the Meatless Farm Soya burger patty from Sainsbury’s. Those that have tired the burger says its simply fantastic, and even a few meat eaters have given it the thumbs up.

What’s more, not only do they offer a Vegan Burger, but a Gourmet Vegan Burger as well. The gourmet version includes the same Meatless Farm Soya burger patty, as well as avocado, salsa and rocket.   Coming in a slightly higher calorie count, 626 kcal – still doesn’t break the scale.

Weatherspoon’s is making a name for itself among the vegan community, even winning PETAs ‘Best Vegan Noodles’ award in 2017. The delicious noodles comprise non-egg noodles, mixed vegetables, teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and chilli. Since then Wetherspoon’s has gone onto to add vegetarian breakfast sausage options to their Full English Breakfast.

Other vegan and vegetarian meals available at various Wetherspoon’s include jacket potatoes with bean chilli, creamy mushroom risotto, roast vegetable quinoa salad, hummus roast vegetable wraps and vegetable lasagne.
