With vegan dining becoming increasingly popular, Iceland has expanded their range with new vegan ready meals and frozen foods to keep up with demand.
Their frozen vegan range includes their own Iceland branded products, such as the ‘No Bull Quarter pounder’ burger patties, their vegan chicken strips, no pork burger and even vegan chocolate puddings, all for just £2
Iceland’s vegan ready meals include vegetable dhal, vegetable dhansak, delicious tagine soup as well as veggie and no duck spring rolls. They also sell a variety of delicious vegan frozen pizza’s, a real treat for those meat-free individuals starved of pizza due to the cheese content.
Iceland is one of those brands who strives to ‘do things right’ and for nearly 50 years they have driven this commitment. With over 450 products in their stores palm oil free, they aim to remove this devastating environmental disaster of a product from their shelves altogether in the near future.
What’s more, they have pledged that by 2023, all Iceland stores will be plastic free, saving 1,500 tonnes of plastic packaging in the first year.
The main principles to which Iceland abide are to care for the planet, support communities, sell quality food, create mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, and value their people. That’s why they are recognized as one of the best big UK companies to work for.
